Born and raised in Mount Vernon, NY, Paris has dedicated her life and career to supporting those who are misunderstood and have been left out. Paris has spent many years working in non-profit organizations working with BIPOC populations that have been impacted by the legal and child welfare system. She has adopted many therapeutic modalities to help strengthen families and individuals to cope and function in ways that are socially acceptable to themselves, their families and society. Venturing off to build and establish her own practice, Paris promises to continue working from a strengths-based perspective, allowing individuals to feel comfortable in vulnerable spaces, and looking at people as a whole and not as what theyβve been through.
In our work together, I aim to offer a pure experience and room for self awareness, motivation, thought modification and behavior change. I am a firm believer in providing therapeutic services in an authentic and genuine manner by remaining respectful to and knowledgeable of cultural differences and how they influence the way we navigate
In our work together, I aim to offer a pure experience and room for self awareness, motivation, thought modification and behavior change. I am a firm believer in providing therapeutic services in an authentic and genuine manner by remaining respectful to and knowledgeable of cultural differences and how they influence the way we navigate and connect with others in this world.
I have years of experience working with individuals, couples and families that suffer from trauma, systemic racism and oppression, and depression/anxiety. My areas of practice include but are not limited to: anxiety, depression, mood related disorders, relationships, individuals, multicultural families and LGBTQ+ related issues. I utilize different modalities within my work such as cognitive behavioral therapy, functional family therapy and dialectical behavior therapy. I have dedicated my career to supporting others in healing inner wounds and flourishing within their lives.
